Welcome page, your entry into the app. Select from 3 buttons - 'New Game' to start playing, 'High Scores' to view top scores or 'Settings' to access Language selection & hint levels. In addition switch on /off the Music & Sound fx on the Main Menu.
Select letters to try & guess the hidden word. Each letter selection will either be 'correct' (the button will turn green) & the relevant letter will appear in its correct position in the word (or multiple positions ). Or an 'incorrect' letter selection (the button will turn red) and will result in one additional step in the completion of the hangman picture. 6 incorrect letter selections will result in the loss of the game. Correctly guessing all the letters will result in a win.
Reveals either a 'win' for a correct word guess, with a points rating -the more difficult/longer the word & the less incorrect guesses, the higher the number of points. Or a 'loss', a failure to guess the word results in zero points being awarded. A high score 'win' means it will automatically appear on the High Scores page.
Select between 3 languages, English, French & Spanish, all uppercase with no accents to generate the hidden word. Hint level 0 reveals no letters. Level 1 reveals the first letter & level 2 reveals the first & last letter.
Keeps a list of up to 7 high scores, the first 3 earning gold, silver & bronze medals. A reset button deletes all the scores.
